Turn on SYSTEM POWER by pressing the power button on cabinet buttons labeled 1, 2, and 3, (top tier) plus the amplifier power button directly above the storage drawer.
Then turn on power to the microphones by moving the small power switch on each microphone to ON.
Turn on AUDIO to the microphones by moving the toggle switch on the lapel mics and the button marked audio on the handheld to ON.
Check battery power on the lapel microphones by pressing and holding the battery button: a steady bright red light indicates good battery power.
Check battery power on the hand held by turning the microphone on, waiting a few seconds, and then doing an audio check. If the sound crackles, pops, or fuzzes, the battery is low and should be replaced.
NOTE: It takes several seconds for sound to come in after the audio on the hand held microphone is turned on.
DO NOT ADJUST THE SETTINGS ON THE AUDIO CABINET. The only adjustment of cabinet settings should be turning the power ON and OFF.
If you must change batteries, insert them correctly – do not force the battery into the compartment. It will insert easily when the +/- poles are correctly aligned. The handheld microphone battery is accessed by unscrewing the handle and sliding it down.
When you are done using the system TURN OFF ALL POWER BUTTONS. Be sure power is turned off on the CABINET and on EACH OF THE MICROPHONES. Restore the microphones to the cabinet drawer.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please TRIPLE CHECK that you have turned OFF the POWER on the microphones.
