Approval and Distribution of Policies

Board Approved December 11, 2005

The Board of Directors must approve all new and revised policies. Approved policies must be sent to the Office Manager, with effective dates and instructions, for bulletin announcement or publication, posting and special distribution as defined below.

  1. All new and revised policies will be announced in the Board of Directors' Corner of the Sunday service bulletin, and shall be posted on the downstairs bulletin board.
  2. Some policies of particular importance or interest to the congregation shall be distributed more widely (e.g. reprinted in the monthly newsletter) as determined at the time of approval by the Board of Directors.
  3. In all cases, copies of new and revised policies shall be sent to Board members for inclusion in their binders. In addition, copies shall be sent to others directly affected by the policies as identified by the Board of Directors.

The Secretary of the Board shall be responsible for assuring that approved policies are conveyed to the Office Manager with appropriate instructions for their distribution.
