It's May and nearly the close of our 2004-2005 church year. I want to thank you for the privilege of serving as treasurer for the past 3 years. And, thanks too, to Stacy Nicholson, bookkeeper, who has been invaluable as the behind the scenes worker bee.
It's the time of year to elect new board members, one of whom will be the new treasurer. Every year it is helpful to complete the financial year with all pledges received by June 30. This year is even more important as a way to welcome the new treasurer as he or she assumes the new role. Stacy and I will be sending out May statements so you know how you are progressing toward meeting your 2004-2005 pledge. Thanks for your sustained support in the work of the church.
