The title of my talk can best be entitled "My Long and Winding Road to the Altar". I left for seminary at the ripe young age of 51, after two marriages (one I am still in!) and two kids. I have been a spiritual seeker and Social Worker since the early seventies when I first experienced a call to the priesthood at a peace activist meeting – before the Episcopal Church was ordaining women. I am adept at putting off until tomorrow. I look forward to sharing with you how my relationship with my Creator has grown and become stronger.
