Following on the heels of the FMUU 50th Birthday Celebration, we are inviting esteemed church elders to speak to the congregation, imparting their wisdom and stories. Find out what it was really like to be a part of the FMUU community in its early formative years, and meet the founding mothers and fathers who paved the way for our church as it is today.

Laurie Baker: Honoring our Mothers

A reflective look, drawn from UU history and personal experience, at how individuals and communities are shaped by those who mother us.

 

Spring Brunch Potluck, BEFORE church on Sunday, May 18, 9:30 AM Brunch

10:15 AM Building addition presentation. Service follows at 11:00 AM. Share your favorite breakfast dish with members & friends at our last Sunday gathering before we adjourn for the summer. Child care provided Sign up sheet during coffee hour on May 4 & 11.

Carrie Wintersteen: The Church in Full Flower – Honoring Roots and Breaking New Ground

In this, our 50th year, we have commemorated the church's rich history. But where are we going? How are you growing with this religious community? What do you envision in the future of our UU congregation? Our final service of the year will be a mix of reflections, acknowledgements and celebration, exploring where we've come from over this church year and joyfully anticipating where we might go from here.
