It's Rally Sunday! Welcome (back) to one and all. We will honor those who return, those who've moved on, and those who have yet to arrive at our door. It is also the anniversary of the most pivotal event in modern American history. Skip Wood will reflect on 9/11 and its aftermath seen in the light of Unitarian Universalist principles.
The 3rd Principle of the FMUU Church is that as members we will be open to each other's beliefs and encourage each other's spiritual growth. This is a pretty "big" statement and not always easy to follow. Still, it is something that most members recognize as very important to them.
The participants in this summer's Articulating Your UU Faith class will share with you their experiences and discussions about what this principle really means to us and how we can live by it. We will also explore what the 3rd principle means to members of the congregation and how all of us can be open and encouraging to everyone. We hope you will join us in the discussion and in our spiritual growth.
Storyteller Bill Vossler returns with more stories for ethical living and tales of Wishek — this time about ecology at a time when we didn't think about ecology, or perhaps even know the word. Bill's stories capture our imaginations, cycle us through our own childhoods and leave us resting in the center of what a principled life creates.
