Honoring Elwyn Krogh
As most of you are aware, we lost a beloved member of our congregation, Elwyn Krogh. He will be remembered for his many contributions, and deeply missed.
Elwyn Krogh, 66, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo.
Elwyn Phillip Krogh was born July 3, 1953, in Jamestown, ND, the son of Lyle and Vivian (Brady) Krogh. His father died in 1955. Elwyn grew up in the Jamestown and Carrington areas, and graduated from Carrington High School in 1971. He then attended the University of North Dakota and graduated in 1976.
On September 1, 1973, Elwyn and Diane Stewart were united in marriage. They lived in Grand Forks and welcomed 2 children into their home, Rachel in 1977 and Eric in 1981.
Elwyn became a partner in Computerland in Grand Forks, which he operated until he sold his interest. They moved to Fargo in 2001, and Elwyn was employed by Corporate Technologies. Work relationships were always important to him.
Elwyn and Diane loved to travel and were able to visit many areas of the United States and cruised to several parts of the world. They enjoyed spending as much time as possible at their lake home on Cotton Lake near Detroit Lakes and especially the time spent with his family and grandchildren. In Grand Forks he volunteered as a Boy Scout leader. His love of animals led him to volunteer for many years with Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota. He was an active member of the Fargo Moorhead Unitarian Universalist Church and served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter Rachel (Michael) Weber, Fargo; and son Eric (Liz) Krogh, Everett, WA; two grandchildren, Andrew and Madelyn Weber, both Fargo; his mother Vivian Sheets, Fargo; his brother Brent (Janet) Sheets, Fairbanks, AK; two sisters-in-law, Cheri (Kevin) Flanagan and Debra (Neal) Sundet, both of Fargo; his brother-in-law, James (Jan) Stewart, Fargo; and several nieces and nephews.
Elwyn was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Krogh, stepfather, Glen Sheets, and his in-laws, James and Donna Stewart.

Memorial Service: Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, Elwyn's Memorial Service is postponed until September.
